On night skiing dates, SilverStar switches on the floodlights and keeps the lit runs open until 8:30 p.m. Catch the sunset over the valley from the chairlift, then ride fresh corduroy under the lights while the village glows below.
What to know before you go
- Not every night: night skiing runs on scheduled dates only. Check the resort before you plan around it.
- Tickets: regular day tickets stop at 3:30 p.m. Buy the Afternoon & Night or Day & Night ticket to ski the lights.
- Lit terrain only: not all lifts and runs open at night.
- Kids 5 and under ski free with a tot ticket, and it includes night lift access.
- Beginner-friendly: the lit Silver Queen run sits right beside Tube Town, and the little kids’ terrain park is just a bit further to the right.

Quick answers
Does SilverStar have night skiing?
Yes. On night skiing dates the lights stay on and the lifts serving the lit runs keep turning until 8:30 p.m. Not every lift or run is open at night, and night skiing doesn’t run every night, so check the resort’s schedule.
Is night skiing included in a day ticket?
No. The resort’s regular day and multi-day tickets don’t include night skiing. The Afternoon & Night ticket (12:30 to 8:30 p.m.) and the Day & Night ticket (8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.) do, on night skiing dates.
Can little kids ski at night?
Yes. The resort’s free tot ticket for kids 5 and under includes night lift access on night skiing nights.
